Looking for an indulgent snack that doesn’t involve hours spent baking? These stuffed dates are so simple to make, the only thing easier is spooning peanut butter straight out of the jar! Customise with your favourite toppings and enjoy this perfect anytime treat.
INGREDIENTS:
- 10 dates (caramel-tasting Medjool dates are perfect)
- 3-4 tablespoons Salted Date Peanut Butter
OPTIONAL TOPPINGS:
- 15 g dark chocolate, coarsely chopped
- Coconut flakes
- Crushed nuts
- Dried cranberries
- Cinnamon or cacao powder
- Drizzle of dark chocolate or tahini
METHOD:

Use a knife to make a slit along each and remove the stone, being careful not to cut the date in half. You just want to make a crevice to fill with peanut butter.

Place a heaped teaspoon of peanut butter inside each date.

Add any extra nuts or dried fruit.

Sprinkle each date with a good pinch of chopped chocolate and a small pinch of sea salt, or alternatively drizzle with dark chocolate.
