PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE BARK
Total time: 30 min
This week we are all about sweet treats, and we couldn’t resist making some peanut butter chocolate bark at Yumello HQ. This is actually one of the easiest things to make whether you are wanting to gift it, eat it or have it as a dessert accompaniment at a dinner party.
All you need is two key ingredients: 225 grams of dark chocolate and 150g of Yumello peanut butter (you can adjust to your liking). We recommend our 1kg tub of smooth peanut butter for this recipe but to add a crunch, try our crunchy salted date peanut butter as it will make this all the more decadent.
Start by melting down your chocolate at medium heat in a glass bowl over a pan of boiling water on the stove, or in 30-second intervals in the microwave, stirring in between until smooth and runny. On low heat on a separate stove, you can heat up the peanut butter a little to give it a runnier consistency which will make it easier to pour. Stirring continuously, this should take maximum five minutes to do.
Covering a baking tray with baking paper, pour your dark chocolate on, spreading it into a large rectangle. You can decide how thick you would like it to be.
Drizzling over the peanut butter, use a cocktail stick to make a marbled pattern with the peanut butter over the chocolate. (And try to resist the temptation to eat your melted peanut butter and chocolate mix!)
If you’d like to add some extra toppings, now is the time! We recommend a handful or two of raspberries as they really level-up the flavour and colour of this tasty treat. These can also be added when you are ready to serve. Pop in the fridge and leave to set for three hours. Take out of the fridge, cut into pieces using a sharp knife, and Bon Appetit!
